Hilary to be Nominated Monday

As if we all didn't know. There are also rumors on the blogosphere that there may be some technicalities that would prohibit Hilary from being nominated, namely, that she voted for a pay increase for that position.

As for her nomination? I think it is a brilliant move that only strengthens a powerful team that Obama is assembling.

FDA determines acceptable level of poison for children

I can't even believe this one. After the FDA stated that it was too difficult to determine the safety threshold for the industrial chemical melamine in baby formula, they have decided that some of the chemical is just fine, in fact, they decided that 20 TIMES the limit in Taiwan is acceptable. Focus on Family, finances Hate, dumps 200 employees

In an effort to help pass Proposition 8 in California, Focus on the Family donated over $500,000.00 to the cause. Now they cannot meet their financial obligations and are laying off 20% of their workforce. Karma's a bitch, isn't it.

Maybe Focus on the Family should focus on their own family and leave ours alone.

Gay Rights protests in over 300 cities

Gay rights supporters waving rainbow colors marched, chanted and danced in cities coast to coast Saturday to protest the vote that banned gay marriage in California and to urge supporters not to quit the fight for the right to wed. Photos and more at TowleRoad and at Joe.My.God.

President -elect on YouTube weekly

For the first time, the weekly Democratic address has been released as a web video. It will also continue to air on the radio. President-elect Obama plans to to publish these weekly updates through the Transition and then from the White House. Today's address from the President-elect concerns the current economic crisis. Very kewl.
